Teeth grinding/TMJ dysfunction
If you are experiencing a clicking, popping or crackling sound when opening and closing your mouth, you may be suffering from temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. This is a disharmony in the way the jaw joint works, and in extreme cases, can cause arthritis of the jaw joint.
Symptoms of TMJ dysfunction include frequent headaches, neck aches, tooth and sinus sensitivity, ringing in the ears, teeth grinding and pain in the jaw muscles. We can recommend a range of different treatments to help with TMJ dysfunction and avoid harm to the teeth, gums and bone structure of the mouth.
