At dental excellence we are pleased to offer Anti-wrinkle treatment. In combination with dental treatment to enhance your smile, we provide anti-wrinkle treatment to smooth lines around your face and give you a fresh rejuvenated look.
You’ll come in for a consultation to discuss the results you want to achieve. We will then schedule your wrinkle relaxer appointment. This will usually take about 30 minutes.
After the area of your face is cleaned, a thin tiny needle will be inserted into the skin to administer the anti-wrinkle product.
Anti-wrinkle injections or wrinkle relaxers are one of the most effective treatments to softening fine lines and wrinkles of the face. The most common areas we treat include;

What’s the process?
An initial complimentary consultation is made to assess your treatment expectations. We go through the entire process with you, work out which areas are best to treat and dosing that is required. required.
How long does the treatment take?
The anti-wrinkle treatment is relatively quick and can be done in a lunch break! Depending on the number of areas being treated, appointments usually take around 30 minutes
Does it hurt?
Generally the treatment is quite painless. If you do feel something, it will be a tiny sting at the time of injection, but only for a second. We will make sure the process is as comfortable as possible.
How quickly do I see results?
To see the full effect of you anti-wrinkle treatment you need to wait 2 weeks. However everyone is different and results can be seen as early as 3-4 days.
How long does my anti-wrinkle treatment last?
Typically results last between 3-6 months. This depends on the individual and also the number of treatments you have had in the area in the past.
What are the side effects?
The side effects of anti-wrinkle injections are uncommon, self limiting and usually localised to the area that has been treated.
Side effects if you experience any may include, but are not limited to headaches, bruising, localised swelling, drooping eyelid/eyebrow, nausea, muscle weakness,numbness or pins and needles feeling.
How to lower the risks?
Although you cannot eliminate all clinical risks, you can limit the chance of things going wrong by choosing a qualified and experienced practitioner.
We take additional steps to minimise any side effects, by keeping up to date with the latest techniques, knowledge and equipment to facilitate the safe administration of anti-wrinkle injections.
To minimize any bruising we use ACCUVEIN. Accuvein illuminates invisible veins in the face, which can clearly be avoided during injections.
